1. Zero Email-Gate Policy

We believe calculation tools should be transparent and friction-free. We do not require account creation, email capture, or phone numbers to use any calculator or download spec sheets on this platform.

2. Client-Side Calculation Processing

All inputs provided in our interactive sizing engine (such as bedroom counts, radiator wattage, and flow rate sliders) are computed locally inside your browser via JavaScript and are never stored on our servers.

3. Cookies & Analytics

We may use privacy-preserving, anonymized analytics to measure website performance, user geography, and browser compatibility to improve calculation tooling. Where analytics are enabled, IP addresses are anonymized before storage and we do not operate cross-site advertising trackers, fingerprinting scripts, or data brokerage integrations. We set no marketing cookies. Any strictly functional storage we use — for example remembering whether you prefer metric (kW) or imperial (BTU/hr) units — is kept in your browser's own localStorage and never transmitted to us.

4. What We Never Collect

We do not collect names, postal addresses, telephone numbers, property addresses, payment details, or any special-category personal data. Because every calculator runs entirely client-side, the figures you enter — bedroom counts, floor areas, radiator wattages, flow rates, U-values, fuel prices — exist only in the memory of your own browser tab and are discarded when you close it. We cannot retrieve them, and we cannot sell them.

5. Third-Party Services

Web fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as an unavoidable consequence of serving the font files. Our pages are delivered from a CDN edge network that keeps short-lived, aggregated request logs for security and abuse prevention. If you voluntarily submit our contact form, the message content and any email address you choose to supply are used solely to reply to your enquiry.

6. Your Rights (UK GDPR & EU GDPR)

Where we do hold personal data — realistically, only correspondence you have sent us — you have the right to request access to it, request its correction or erasure, restrict or object to its processing, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office). Because we hold no accounts and no calculation history, most access requests can be answered immediately: there is nothing on file.

7. Children's Privacy

This site is a professional engineering reference tool intended for homeowners, landlords, installers, and building services engineers. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
